Went for a long walk in the rain this morning. The atmospheric river came through last night and it was quite the storm. Big howling winds. But no damage as I could see. I took my standard walk around the neighborhood. When he was young, Barney loved to walk with me. I just had to shake the leash, and he was all bouncing around. Sometime during the pandemic, he got tired of morning walks. Perhaps because I was walking him about 4 times a day then. It got to where when I got out the leash, he would run into the living room and jump up into the chair with Carter. As if to say leave me alone. It was kind of cute, actually. But I missed him on our walks.
