It rains here today as it has off and on all weekend. But we need it and the gardens are happy. I mostly have this year’s edition of the garden in place. A few more perennials and fewer plants over all on the deck. With the perennials I hopefully won’t have to reinvent the garden every year. I am sure a few more plants will creep in as the summer arrives. Plants that aren’t available yet. But overall, I am pleased with the look. My mother would be proud of me. She was very much into gardens and as a kid I was only vaguely interested. But somewhere along the way I caught the bug and here I am. I guess I find my little garden to be a very peaceful respite at times, especially in the evening as the daylight falls and the garden lights begin to sparkle. I guess in a hectic world, it is a place to find a little peace. If only for a while.
